Amy Nixon is the Health Educator with the Tennessee Respite Coalition. Before joining the TRC, Amy worked for 13 years as a journalist and editor. She is passionate about advocating for people with disabilities and special needs and their families, and she currently serves on the Executive Board for the Friends of Gallatin Miracle Park. She is also a board member at large for Historic Downtown Gallatin, Inc. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing and hiking with her husband and their three children.
