Please call and urge your Representative to cosponsor the ‪Lifespan‬ ‪‎Respite‬ Reauthorization Act (HR 3913). You can find all the information you need to make the call and what to say in the Legislative_Alert_2016.

Help the TRC Rise from the Ashes

On Sept. 22, the building housing the Tennessee Respite Coalition experienced a fire that damanged or destroyed its office equipment and paper files – and left the nonprofit without a home office. We're trying to help the TRC rise above the ashes with donations from its supporters. If you would like to help, please visit www.crowdrise.com/trcfire.

The day after the fire, the TRC staff was returning calls and sending respite reimbursement checks to caregivers. The dedication to their mission to serve family caregivers hasn't been dampened by all the fire/water damage.

Insurance may cover replacement of essential items and some recovery of documents, but the future cost the the TRC will be huge. Any office space that they find will be more than double what the organization has budgeted for and that can be covered by grants.
